Unit 2 - Blog

Chapter 4 of the novel describes the progress that Victor made in his mission to bring death back to life. It is described that his mental and physical took a toll on his road to glory. It was one of the drawbacks in return for having rapidly growing progression in his research leading to his breakthrough after mastering every single subject taught by his teachers. To go more into detail, he was in solitude for a year, separating himself from his friends and more importantly his family. Leaving notes unanswered for a long periods of time. Getting rid of his social life and on top of that his health decreased dramatically as he turned pale and weak. He achieved his goal through sacrifices and hard work leading to me thinking about the theme of hard work required if you want to achieve anything in life. In the real world, it is necessary to do hard work to accomplish your life goal. It is also required to let go of things you love dearly. It was hard for Victor as well as everyone else in the world who has experienced growing up. In the beginning, Victor had a hard time leaving his family.
